The theme of our third annual Deeper Christian Life Conference was ROUGH DIAMONDS: The Path to Transformation. The audios from the conference are being made available on the Network.
This is a closed conference for only those who are part of the DCL Network, hence it’s intentionally small. About 150 people attended — people from all over the world.
The conference was marked by creative ministry from Frank, sharing Christ in round tables by all who attended, group exercises, and lots of fellowship, interaction, and laughter.
Lots of people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s attended this year.

Thank you so much for your work. I have sat in countless Sunday morning Bible classes, Wednesday night bible classes, devotions of all kinds, retreats, conferences, small groups, and all read all kinds of Bible study books all my life. Yet I have never learned Jesus as much. Praise God for eyes to see His indescribable glory!

The conference this year was life changing! I experienced breakthrough in an area of my life that I have been battling for most of my life!! God is good!

This was the most impactful conference of the three I attended so far, mainly because the Lord used it to put his finger on something in my life that I was blind to. Because we were encouraged to look for ways we were not like Jesus, we opened ourselves up to the Lord to do a work in us, and He did not disappoint. I discovered that I tend to bury my feelings, and the Lord showed me that I tend to lack empathy for others emotional pain because of this. I have started naming what I’m feeling and communicating to those close to me, and it is ground-breaking for me. It’s a whole new adventure and I feel so much more open to what the Lord is doing in and around me. Also, we were encouraged to imagine the worst case scenario about a problem or worry we have, and then trust the Lord with that possibility. I realized I was operating from a place of fear in the gathering that the Lord has started to assemble for fellowship locally. This new view has freed me as well. The conference was an excellent place to allow the Lord to minister to the body through the body! Thank you Frank, for making this possible and following the Lord’s leading.

Having listened to the previous year’s Master Classes, I knew that there would be some great lessons from Frank at this year’s conference, which was my first. I was certainly not disappointed, but was blessed with some new tools to help stay on track and renew my mind with right thinking. The guest speaker was absolutely inspiring to end the conference with. What turned out to be extra special were the breakout sessions with new brothers and sisters of like-mindedness. What a blessing to meet with “strangers” who quickly become closer than family because we all share the love of Christ together. Being “assembled” at this conference with the ekklesia is almost like having a face-to-face with Jesus. I am already looking forward to next year.

Our first conference – awesome! We definitely felt the presence of the Lord there and the messages on transformation (Rough Diamonds) were so relevant, especially on the heels of listening to the Beautiful Pursuit again! Blessed to be able to connect with so many like-minded brothers and sisters and share Christ together. Thanks, Frank, for incorporating all the practical exercises – as uncomfortable as they were at times – their value far surpassed our discomfort and gave us new tools to use together as a couple! Can’t wait to listen to these messages again and gather with our new-found friends, locally and at next year’s conference!

When I arrived at the hotel, I felt anxiety. Having wanted to attend every year, but unable until this year, I was still hesitant to journey down to the meet and great. It didn’t take long for me to realize God orchestrates much needed meetings. From moment one, I was grateful to meet tremendously kind-hearted folks. Being with people who long to know Jesus and to have Him express His life through them really is an aspect of heaven coming to earth. This appeared throughout the conference as many of the “assignments” involved interacting with one another. I am very used to conferences that go for the information overload approach. Yes, Frank and the super-secret special guest (now known to be “Denzel” or Jeffrey) had plenty to share on the subject of transformation that will be very helpful in this “glacial” process of conforming to the image of Christ. However, I really appreciated how the focus allowed the content to settle in and be applied between teaching sessions. There was even space to rest! Unheard of!

This year’s conference was quite different from prior years. It started laying the groundwork for spiritual transformation. I met a lot of new faces and was able to also see many of the friends that I’ve made going each year. I left inspired and encouraged to follow my Lord and with tools that will aid me in that walk. The day I left, God gave me a major breakthrough, a concrete “how-to” of the way to continue following Him, which was something I have been looking for for years.

This was the first time my wife and I attended a DCLN conference. Overall it was an incredible experience and opportunity! We found the teaching and practical exercises to be very relevant, practical, impactful, and personal. There was sufficient free time to spend with others in the network, encourage one other in the Lord, and forge life-long friendships. Something I was not expecting was how much we would be impacted by the acapella singing (and the tears it brought). We are encouraged to have experienced an incredible group of saints who are pursuing Christ with everything they have — and we’re proud, excited, and humbled to have spent time with them. We’re already looking forward to next year!

The Lord knows just what His bride needs to mature us in our growing relationship with Christ. The timely deep teaching by Frank, the challenging preaching by Jeffrey, and the encouraging interactions with brothers and sisters, combined to make this conference an important part of God’s plan to bring some of His remnant together to transform us into the likeness of Christ. This ongoing transformation is very painful at times but there is a joy and fulfillment as we become more aware of the Lord’s loving presence and a satisfaction of knowing His guidance in learning to live in His will.

This year was my first time to The Deeper Christian Life Conference. After reading all the different testimonies, I had no choice but to attend this Conference. And I’m super glad I did. The messages and encouragements from the sisters and brothers, on the practical hands-on training experience, evoked a new love and appreciation for the Lord Christ Jesus. “Just Go” — it’s not my last.

There is always something I appreciate about being at the conferences each year. It is seeing folks I have seen in the past, and trying to stay connected with them throughout the year. This year’s meetings, I resonated with each session. Yes, I could of stayed home and listened to the network online, but is not the same. The difference is to sit and hear what the others at your tables are saying as they are being transformed right along side of you.

I was so encouraged by the messages. I’m encouraged to continue forward in following Jesus with much joy and eager expectation!
